How I Use AI in My Work

A Note on AI and Transparency

I know that the use of AI in creative work is a sensitive and often controversial topic. Readers, authors, and artists have very different views on it, and I respect that.

Because transparency matters to me, I want to openly share how I use AI in my work.

The covers for the Genesis Bonds series, including future books in the series, were created with the help of AI image generation. The prompts were written by me, and the final covers were retouched, edited, and adjusted to fit my vision for the books.

I made this choice because I wanted to stay as close as possible to the visual concept I had in mind. This does not mean that I am opposed to working with cover artists in the future. It simply reflects the decision I made for this particular series.

I understand that AI-generated cover art may be a reason for some readers not to pick up my books, and that is completely fair. Everyone should be able to decide what kind of creative work they want to support and consume. This statement is not meant to change anyone's mind, but to give you the information you need to make your own decision.

As for my writing: I write my books myself.

My stories, characters, scenes, dialogue, worldbuilding, and emotional arcs are created by me. AI does not generate my books. However, I do use AI as part of my editing and support process. Since I am multilingual and English is not my only language, I use AI tools to help with proofreading (spelling and grammar) and clarity. In other words, the story is mine, but I do use tools to improve the reading experience.

I also use AI during my writing process as a brainstorming and support tool. Sometimes that means talking through ideas, checking whether a scene works emotionally, or untangling my own doubts when I get stuck. For me, it has become part of my routine in a way that helps me keep writing and publishing.

I know that some readers may still disagree with any use of AI, and I respect that. The choice whether or not to read my work is entirely yours.

If you do choose to leave a review, I welcome honest criticism, including criticism of my use of AI. I only ask that it remains respectful and does not turn into personal attacks or hateful comments.

If you decide to give my books a chance despite this, thank you. I truly appreciate it.
